My Story:

Growing up as a pastor’s kid, I recall being so captivated by the slide projector images and stories that followed global workers around the world. (Yes, I’m old enough to remember slide projectors.)

After my first mission trip to Kenya, I knew one day I would live overseas. In 2009, I moved to SE Asia serving in a B4T (Business for Transformation) hospitality resort. For 14 years I traveled to over 30 islands living out the values of the Kingdom of God and living life together in remote villages built above the South China Sea.

During that time, I also served as a youth group leader and an “auntie” to many TCKs.

I now reside in Colorado and enjoy being near family, biking, swimming (there is some water here), reading, coffee and Spindrift. Oh and not having to worry about mosquitoes.

My Ministry:

I have always enjoyed working with teens and young adults. From my work at Taylor University in Residence Life to hosting college groups on remote islands to playing and organizing indoor soccer or sardines with the teens in SE Asia, it’s easy to see that I love people! With a Masters in Counseling and over 17 years in ministry (14 in SE Asia), I desire to see individuals and families thriving in the field.

My passion is to come alongside third culture kids (TCKs), connect and care for their whole selves, and to help anyone going through major life transitions. I greatly value thresholds in life and want to help others in the “space between,” whether they are moving back to their passport country, transitioning to college, facing the sudden loss of a loved one, retirement, and more.
